Pricing & Vehicle Information

Pricing is based on vehicle type, window count, and film selection. Customers are responsible for providing accurate vehicle details at the time of booking. Changes to vehicle type or service selection may affect pricing and scheduling.

Quote Expiration Policy

All price quotes are valid for 7 days from the date they are provided. Due to changes in film pricing, supplier costs, and scheduling availability, quotes may be subject to change after this period. Quotes are only guaranteed once an appointment has been scheduled and confirmed.

Vehicle Preparation & Access Policy

Vehicles must be presented in a condition that allows safe and unobstructed installation. Customers are responsible for removing all personal items, including car seats, child restraints, covers, loose cargo, and valuables from the work area prior to arrival.

Rearview Mirror & Windshield Access (Full windshield & Sun strip Installs): Any items attached to the rearview mirror or windshield area (including dash cams, radar detectors, toll tags, air fresheners, mounts, cords, or accessories) must be removed before installation. Clear access is required to properly install window film, especially on windshields.

ATS Window Tint is not responsible for delays caused by restricted access or items left in the vehicle.

Window Film Removal — Pricing & Policy

Window film removal is billed separately from new film installation.

Pricing: Removal pricing varies based on vehicle type, number of windows, age of the film, adhesive condition, and labor required. Older, bubbled, purple, or improperly installed film may require additional time and specialized removal methods. Final removal pricing is confirmed after inspection. Window film removal typically ranges from $50–$150 per vehicle, depending on film condition and labor required.

Removal Standards: ATS Window Tint removes existing film using professional heat and adhesive-safe techniques. While every effort is made to minimize residue, some older films may leave adhesive or damage due to prior installation quality, age, or exposure.

Limitations: ATS Window Tint is not responsible for damage caused by previous tint installations or pre-existing glass conditions, including defroster line failure, glass discoloration, adhesive-related defects, glass chips, cracks, or weakened edges that may expand or become visible during film removal. Window film can make existing defects, scratches, waves, or distortions more noticeable than clear glass due to light absorption and reflection. ATS Window Tint is not responsible for pre-existing glass defects that become more visible after film is applied.

Refusal of Removal: We reserve the right to decline film removal when the condition of the glass presents an unreasonable risk. This includes, but is not limited to: existing cracks, chips, delamination, compromised edges, damaged defroster lines, or glass that has been previously repaired or weakened. Removal may also be declined if the existing film or adhesive condition makes damage likely.

Windshield Tint — Disclaimer & Liability Waiver (Existing Chips or Cracks)

Applying window film to a windshield with existing chips, cracks, stress marks, or edge damage carries an increased risk of crack expansion or glass failure due to heat, pressure, and curing processes.

By approving windshield tint installation on a windshield with known or visible damage, the customer acknowledges and accepts this risk. ATS Window Tint is not responsible for the spread of existing chips or cracks, sudden glass failure, or the need for windshield replacement resulting from pre-existing damage.

Customers are responsible for inspecting their windshield prior to installation and disclosing any existing damage. Proceeding with installation constitutes acceptance of this waiver and release of liability for pre-existing windshield defects.

Damage Resolution & Repair Discretion

In the unlikely event that damage is determined to have been caused directly by ATS Window Tint during service, ATS Window Tint’s liability is limited to repair or replacement at a repair facility of our choosing. Customers agree that ATS Window Tint will determine the appropriate repair method and provider. No outside estimates, third-party repairs, or reimbursements will be authorized without prior written approval from ATS Window Tint.

Film Curing Process

After installation, window film requires time to cure. During this process you may notice small water pockets, haziness, or slight distortion in the film. This is normal and part of the curing process.

Depending on weather conditions, curing typically takes a few days up to 2–3 weeks.

These temporary conditions will disappear as the film fully dries and adheres to the glass.

Window Tint Installation Standards

Window tint is installed by hand using professional cleaning and installation procedures. While every effort is made to produce a clean installation, tint is not installed in a sterile environment.

Because of this, minor dust or lint particles may occasionally be present and are considered normal within industry standards.

Installations are evaluated from normal viewing distance (approximately 3 feet). Particles only visible when inspecting the glass from a few inches away are considered acceptable and do not qualify as defects.

The following are considered normal:

• Occasional small dust or lint particles
• Minor moisture pockets during curing
• Very small imperfections visible only during close inspection

Window Tint Aftercare

To ensure the best long-term performance of your tint, please follow these care instructions:

• Do not roll down windows for 24hrs after installation
• Do not clean the inside of the windows for at least 7 days
• After curing, clean the glass with ammonia-free glass cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth
• Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals on tinted surfaces

Following these steps will help ensure the longevity and appearance of your window film.

Warranty

All window films installed by ATS include a limited lifetime manufacturer warranty covering peeling, bubbling, cracking, and adhesive failure under normal use.

Warranty does not cover physical damage, improper care, glass defects, defroster failure, third-party damage, or normal wear.

Right to Refuse Service

ATS Window Tint reserves the right to decline or discontinue service when a vehicle, request, or customer interaction falls outside our operating standards. This may include but is not limited to: unsafe or excessively dirty vehicles, undisclosed vehicle modifications, changes to service scope after booking, or conduct that disrupts our schedule or work environment.

We reserve the right to service vehicles, not vague intentions.
